Built on Remo’s classic single-ply 10mil Ambassador film, this Ebony bass drum head incorporates Sub Muff’l Technology (SMT) to deliver a powerful and controlled low end without excessive internal dampening. The externally mounted dampening profile features a free-floating acoustic foam ring that enhances attack while preserving the natural resonance of the shell.

The Ebony finish offers a sleek black aesthetic with a focused tonal character, providing balanced mids, controlled highs and deep, punchy bass frequencies. With a wide tuning range and built-in overtone control, this head is well suited to live performance and studio recording where clarity and consistency are key.
