Life on the Road
Played in many bands but finally got serious around age 21 when I started playing in London with Tim Keegan, followed by two years and 100 gigs with The Blue Aeroplanes. I've toured Europe several times, played the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, and the New Music Seminar in New York.
My biggest gig was in Denmark on the Roskilde Festival main stage in 1995 with The Blue Aeroplanes. Immediately after coming off stage, I was asked to play with the Ozric Tentacles just 30 minutes prior to them going on stage, as their drummer was sick...
When I say sick, I mean very poorly, not what you young people mean! Although I'm sure he was very talented!
Had many highlights whilst touring, but most didn't involve drumming... ;-)
The Dislikes List
And finally... people who go to gigs then spend the entire evening holding their phone in the air recording it... WTF?
