Constructed from Remo’s classic single-ply 10mil Ambassador film, this 18" Clear drum head incorporates Sub Muff’l Technology (SMT) for focused tone and built-in control. The externally mounted dampening profile with free-floating acoustic foam reduces unwanted overtones while maintaining natural resonance and strong attack.

The clear film delivers a bright, articulate response with defined projection, making it particularly effective on floor toms where a short, punchy low end is required. With a wide tuning range and balanced tonal character, the Ambassador SMT Clear provides controlled sustain and consistency for live performance and studio recording.
