Based on the SMT Bass Drumhead design, this tom version is pre-muffled and specifically developed for use on floor toms fitted with a metal flanged counter hoop. Constructed from Remo’s classic single-ply 10mil Ambassador film, it incorporates Sub Muff’l Technology (SMT) to deliver a short, punchy response with enhanced low-end focus.

The externally mounted dampening profile with free-floating acoustic foam helps create a bass drum-like character from your floor tom, reducing unwanted sustain while maintaining clarity and projection. The smooth Ebony finish provides a bold black aesthetic alongside a controlled tonal profile suited to live performance and studio recording.
