The Yamaha SS9WR is a heavy-duty, double-braced snare stand built for players who need a seriously secure foundation and more flexibility from a single stand. Its Flip Grip Basket uses reversible arms to accommodate a wide range of snare drum sizes, making it useful for players switching between main snares, smaller side snares and deeper drums.

The Ball Clamp Tilter provides smooth angle and rotational adjustment, so you can position the drum and strainer precisely. Yamaha’s Tone-Enhancing Basket Rubber helps reduce energy transfer between the shell and stand, allowing the drum to resonate more naturally. Double-braced legs, large rubber feet and deployable spikes provide additional grip when required.

The SS9WR has a 44–57cm height range and is Yamaha’s most adaptable option in this new snare stand range.
