The Yamaha SS6W is the double-braced version of Yamaha’s lightweight SS6 snare stand, giving you a more solid base while retaining a sensible overall weight for rehearsals, regular gigging and everyday practice. Its 45–60cm height range accommodates most standard playing positions, while the double-braced legs provide added support for heavier snares and more forceful playing.

A Step Free Tilter gives smooth, continuous adjustment, allowing you to set the basket angle exactly where you want it. Yamaha’s Tone-Enhancing Basket Rubber helps reduce direct energy transfer from the shell to the stand, allowing the snare to resonate more naturally, while the basket adjustment knob makes it straightforward to achieve a secure fit.
