The Tama STAR Reserve Bubinga/Walnut 14"x5" Snare Drum in Gloss Cordia is now available with us at Graham Russell Drums!

Part of Tama’s flagship STAR Reserve range, the TBWS145S-GCD is a limited-edition 14"x5" snare built around a premium Bubinga/Walnut hybrid shell. The combination of carefully selected tonewoods, a shallow 5" depth and a striking Cordia outer ply gives this model a refined appearance alongside a highly responsive and articulate playing character.

The shell measures 6mm thick and combines 4 inner plies of Walnut with 2 outer plies of Bubinga, finished with an additional Cordia outer ply. Tama also incorporates Maple Sound Focus Rings to help focus the response while retaining the full-bodied character of the hybrid shell.

Its 14"x5" dimensions provide a fast and immediate response, making the drum well suited to players looking for clarity, sensitivity and a defined snare note without sacrificing warmth and body.

Finished in Gloss Cordia, the natural figuring of the outer ply gives the drum a premium and distinctive appearance that complements its flagship STAR Reserve construction.

The drum is equipped with 2.3mm Sound Arc Hoops, a Linear Drive MLS50A strainer and MLS50B butt plate, and 20-strand Super Sensitive Hi-Carbon snare wires. Remo Ambassador batter and resonant heads complete the setup.
