he Tama Starclassic Performer 14" x 6.5" Snare Drum combines a full-bodied snare sound with the dark, understated appearance of the Blacked Out Black Edition. Its 6.5" depth provides plenty of body and authority while retaining the definition needed for clear backbeats, accents and ghost notes.

Die-cast hoops help focus the drum’s attack and provide a solid feel for rimshots and cross-sticks. An Evans G1 coated batter head and Evans 300 snare-side head provide a familiar, responsive playing surface straight out of the box.

Every visible detail follows the same blacked-out theme, with a Flat Black finish complemented by matching black hoops, lugs and fittings. It makes an excellent matching snare for the Blacked Out Starclassic Performer kit, but its clean, modern appearance also allows it to sit comfortably with other setups.
