The Tama Dyna-Sync HPDS1 Single Bass Drum Pedal is now available with us at Graham Russell Drums!

The Dyna-Sync represents Tama’s flagship direct drive bass drum pedal, engineered for maximum speed, precision and adjustability. Unlike the Iron Cobra and Speed Cobra ranges, which utilise chain drive systems, the Dyna-Sync features a direct drive linkage that creates a solid, immediate connection between the footboard and beater. The result is exceptionally fast response and highly articulate control.

At the core of the HPDS1 is Tama’s newly developed Dyna-Sync Direct Drive Cam, designed to deliver both power and speed without sacrificing smoothness. The cam shape increases leverage toward the end of the stroke, providing strong, controlled impact while maintaining rapid rebound.

The pedal is equipped with a Dual Linkage adjustable direct drive system, allowing players to alter the relationship between the cam and footboard angle for a customised feel. This makes the Dyna-Sync one of the most adjustable pedals in the Tama lineup.

Precision engineering is central to its performance. The Oiles® Bearing Hinge reduces friction and eliminates lateral play for consistent, long-term smooth operation. The Speedo-Ring rocker cam incorporates a built-in ball bearing to further enhance fluidity of motion. Combined with the Swivel Spring Tight mechanism, which ensures the spring pulls in a straight line throughout the stroke, the pedal delivers extremely smooth and efficient action.

The Vari-Pitch Beater Holder allows independent adjustment of beater and footboard angles, offering fine control over stroke length and feel. A specially designed Control Core beater balances attack and durability, while reducing unwanted vibration.

Stability is reinforced by a wide-frame construction and the Para-Clamp II Pro hoop clamp system, ensuring secure grip across a wide variety of bass drum hoops without damage. The pedal also features an integrated tension adjustment dial for quick, precise spring adjustments.
