Poplar shells
Poplar is a widely used shell material for drums. Being softer than other hardwoods like maple, beech or birch, it offers more mid to low frequencies with a softer attack.
AQ Cast Lugs
The new SONOR cast lug, used on all of the AQ-Series drums, was engineered in Germany with close attention to functionality, durability and design. It is assembed using multiple components and includes our TuneSafe system to prevent detunung of the drums.
Natural Bass Drum Hoops
The Micro, Jungle and Jazz Compact Kits are equiped with contrasting natural Bass Drum Wood Hoops for an elegant Esthetic.
