The Mapex 13 x 5.5" Black Panther Cherry Bomb Design Lab Snare Drum is inspired by Mapex's acclaimed Black Panther drum series. Mapex have taken everything they’ve learnt about making great sounding, cutting edge snare drums. Then, using modern technology, innovative features and good old fashioned drum craft, they add just that little bit of extra modern flair.
The Mapex Black Panther Cherry Bomb Snare boasts a cherry wood shell for warm, focused projection with an edgy, distinctly rock 'n' roll sound. It also has these high-end features: 10-lug hoops that give you secure, tight resonance; Puresound premium snare wires for an extra-defined rattle; a Cylinder-drive strainer for smooth throw off with a tactile click; and SoniClear bearing edges that give a classically dark, throaty, rock flavor. Mapex Black Panther Design Lab snares are engineered with Mapex's Concept Hybrid approach to sound design, shell composition, and drum construction. The result is a unique and personal instrument with the outstanding, rich tone that a lot of drummers demand.
