We've spent some time with the EFNOTE Mini at Graham Russell Drums, and after putting it through its paces in the showroom, we wanted to share what impressed us most.

We have recently had the EFNOTE Mini arrive with us at Graham Russell Drums, and after spending some time behind the kit, we felt it deserved a closer look.

The EFNOTE Mini brings together everything we've come to expect from EFNOTE in a compact, beautifully designed electronic drum kit. From the playing experience and realistic cymbals to the premium sounds and intuitive touchscreen module, it left a really positive impression on us.

A Compact Kit with Big Potential

One of the biggest highlights for us was simply how enjoyable the EFNOTE Mini is to play. Everything feels comfortable and well laid out behind the kit, making it easy to forget you're sitting at a compact electronic drum set. The playing position feels natural, while the responsive pads and premium hardware create an experience that feels reassuringly familiar.

The cymbals were the real standout during our time with the kit, particularly the 16" ride. In our opinion, EFNOTE continues to produce some of the most realistic electronic cymbals currently available. Their feel, response and overall playing experience are genuinely impressive, and the ride quickly became one of our favourite parts of the entire kit.

The sounds deserve just as much praise. Every kit is built from real recorded acoustic drums and cymbals, giving the EFNOTE Mini a natural, expressive sound that responds beautifully to your dynamics. Pair that with the intuitive touchscreen module, which is refreshingly simple to navigate, and you have an electronic drum kit that's a pleasure to play and equally enjoyable to use.

One of the things we like most about the EFNOTE Mini is just how many different situations it suits. Whether you're practising at home, teaching, rehearsing with a band or playing smaller venues, its compact footprint makes it incredibly easy to live with without ever feeling restrictive.
