The Yamaha CH8 is an adjustable cymbal holder and long boom arm, designed to add a cymbal without needing another full floor stand. Attach it to compatible Yamaha system hardware or a suitable clamp to position crashes, rides, splashes or effects cymbals precisely where the setup needs them.

Its 32cm boom arm gives considerably more reach than the CH8S short version, while the 58–85cm height range helps place the cymbal above or around existing drums and hardware. A Step Free Tilter provides smooth, continuous angle adjustment, and the hinged boom tilter clamp grips the arm from three sides for secure positioning. The boom also retracts for straight-holder use.

The CH8 includes Yamaha’s QRN8 Quick Release Nut for faster cymbal changes and SECW8 Sound Enhancement Cymbal Washer, offering two support options for adjusting cymbal response.
