The Yamaha CBW8 is a long cymbal boom arm with an integrated counterweight, designed for placing heavier cymbals further from the mounting point without compromising balance. Its 70cm boom gives plenty of reach for rides, larger crashes and effects cymbals, making it particularly useful on extended Yamaha system-hardware setups.

The built-in boom weight counterbalances the cymbal, helping the arm remain securely positioned at longer extensions. A Step Free Tilter provides smooth, continuous cymbal-angle adjustment, while the hinged boom tilter clamp grips from three sides for a secure hold. The CBW8 also includes Yamaha’s QRN8 Quick Release Nut for faster cymbal changes and the SECW8 Sound Enhancement Cymbal Washer for adjustable cymbal response.
