The Tama Iron Cobra 600 Duo Glide double bass drum pedal is part of Tama’s long-standing Iron Cobra lineup, designed to deliver the reliability and adjustability the series is known for in a more accessible mid-range model. This limited Dark Shadow Edition features a distinctive matte black coated finish with a high-temperature baked textured surface, giving the pedal a bold, rugged appearance while maintaining the proven Iron Cobra 600 platform underneath.
At the core of the pedal is Tama’s Duo Glide cam system, which allows players to quickly switch between Rolling Glide (round cam) for a smooth, consistent response and Power Glide (eccentric cam) for increased power and acceleration during the stroke. This flexibility allows the pedal feel to be tailored to different playing styles and musical situations.
The pedal uses a double chain drive, delivering stable and accurate motion while maintaining the durability Iron Cobra pedals are known for. Tama’s Speedo-Ring rocker cam replaces the traditional nylon cam with a ball-bearing design, reducing friction and helping the pedal move more smoothly during faster passages or longer performances.
