The Paiste PST7 19" Thin Crash is part of the PST7 series, developed to deliver a traditional cymbal sound and appearance at an accessible level. It is crafted from CuSn8 bronze (B8 alloy) — the same bronze formula used in Paiste’s legendary 2002 series — which produces a bright, clear and musical tone while maintaining excellent durability. The cymbal is machine hammered and precision lathed in Switzerland, giving it consistent tonal character and a classic traditional finish.

With its thin weight profile, the cymbal offers a warm, airy crash response with quick attack and a soft playing feel. The sound has a bright, shimmering character with a clean mix and medium sustain, making it ideal for dynamic accents and expressive playing. Because of its responsive feel and moderate volume range, the 19" Thin Crash works particularly well in pop, rock, funk, blues and general live or studio applications, especially where a musical crash with controlled wash is required.
