The cymbal is produced from CuSn8 bronze (B8 alloy) — the same bronze formula used in the legendary Paiste 2002 series — which provides a bright, clear tonal character with strong durability and projection.
With its thin weight profile, the cymbal offers a warm, airy and responsive crash sound with a soft playing feel and quick response. The tone features bright highs with a controlled wash and medium sustain, making it ideal for dynamic playing and lighter accents. The cymbal is machine hammered and lathed in Paiste’s Swiss production facility, ensuring consistent quality and tone across the series.
