The Saturn VI series combines modern design with a warm, musical shell character, and this Studioease configuration offers a versatile, professional setup that works equally well for live performance and studio recording. Built using Mapex’s hybrid maple and walnut shell construction, the toms and floor toms feature a 6-ply build for warmth and sensitivity, while the 8-ply bass drum delivers added depth, punch, and focused low-end power.

Mapex’s SONIClear™ bearing edge design allows the drumheads to sit flatter against the shell, improving head-to-shell contact for clearer tone, easier tuning, and excellent tuning stability across a wide range of tunings. This makes the Saturn VI a reliable and forgiving kit to dial in, whether you prefer open resonance or a tighter, more controlled sound.

Finished in a deep Cobalt Burst high-gloss lacquer, this kit offers striking stage presence alongside a balanced, articulate sound that suits everything from studio work and function gigs to louder live environments.
