The Mapex Black Panther 14" x 6" Predator Copper Snare Drum is now available with us at Graham Russell Drums.
The Predator is built around a 1.2mm seamed Copper shell, delivering a dark, powerful and weighty snare sound with a strong mid-low fundamental. Its 14" x 6" dimensions give the drum plenty of body while retaining the articulation and control expected from the Black Panther series.
Mapex pairs the Copper shell with rolled SONIClear™ bearing edges, Sonic Saver hoops, quad venting and premium Black Panther hardware, creating a professional snare with plenty of depth, projection and tonal authority.

1.2mm Seamed Copper Shell
The Predator uses a 1.2mm seamed Copper shell to produce a deep, weighty fundamental with a strong mid-low tonal character and plenty of power.
Rolled SONIClear™ Bearing Edges
Rolled SONIClear™ bearing edges are used on both sides of the shell, with a 45° batter-side edge and 35° snare-side edge for consistent head contact and a balanced response.
Quad Vented Chamber
A quad-vented chamber helps shape the response and feel of the Predator, contributing to its powerful yet controlled tonal character.
Sonic Saver Hoops
