Information

The Ludwig Classic Maple FAB 22" Drum Kit, Champagne Sparkle is now available with us at Graham Russell Drums.

Handcrafted in Monroe, North Carolina, this Classic Maple shell pack delivers the warmth, clear attack and rich sustain that have made Ludwig a favourite on stage and in the studio. Its seven-ply, 6mm North American maple shells offer a sensitive response and wide tuning range, allowing you to explore everything from full, low-pitched grooves to brighter, more open sounds.

Ludwig’s Radio Frequency Shell Technology uses a specialised bonding process to cure each shell evenly, working alongside cross-laminated construction to promote stability. Each 45-degree bearing edge is carefully hand-sanded to create a smooth, even surface for the drumhead, supporting consistent head seating, resonance and sustain.

The three-piece FAB configuration combines a 22" x 14" bass drum, 13" x 9" rack tom and 16" x 16" floor tom for a classic setup with plenty of depth and presence. The undrilled bass drum allows you to position the rack tom independently using a suitable mounting arrangement. Mini Classic lugs, Elite bass drum spurs and Classic floor tom legs complete the hardware specification, while the Champagne Sparkle finish gives the kit a timeless appearance.
