Shop Drum Hardware by Type

Browse by hardware type, from complete packs and pedals to individual stands, racks, parts and lightweight options.

Choosing the Right Drum Hardware

The right drum hardware balances stability, adjustment and portability. Double-braced stands suit heavier setups, while single-braced, flat-base and lightweight hardware can make regular transport much easier. With pedals and hi-hat stands, feel and adjustment are just as important as weight and construction.

We stock hardware from leading drum brands across complete packs, individual stands, pedals, thrones, racks and replacement parts, alongside a regularly changing selection of pre-owned drum hardware.

Hardware for Gigging and Regular Transport

For working drummers, hardware weight can matter almost as much as stability. Compact single-braced and lightweight stands can reduce the load considerably without sacrificing the adjustment needed for everyday gigs and rehearsals. If maximum rigidity matters more, heavier double-braced stands and rack systems remain useful for larger cymbals and more complex setups.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is single-braced or double-braced drum hardware better?

Single-braced hardware is lighter to transport, while double-braced stands add weight and rigidity for heavier cymbals and larger setups. The best choice depends on the balance you want between portability and stability.

Should I buy a hardware pack or individual stands?

A hardware pack is a convenient way to build a matching setup, while buying individually gives you more freedom to mix stand types, weights and brands. Always check exactly what is included in a pack.

Which bass drum pedal drive system should I choose?

Chain drive gives a familiar all-round response, belt drive can feel smoother and direct drive feels more immediate. Pedal feel is personal, so trying different systems is the best way to choose where possible.

Is lightweight drum hardware suitable for gigging?

Yes. Purpose-built lightweight hardware can be an excellent choice for gigs and rehearsals, especially if you carry your own equipment regularly. Larger cymbals and long boom extensions may still benefit from heavier stands.
