Founded in Hamamatsu, Japan in 2018, EFNOTE builds electronic drum kits around three principles: beauty, quality and originality. Rather than chasing the longest possible feature list, EFNOTE focuses on natural acoustic drum sounds, responsive triggering and clean, drummer-friendly design.
Across the range, EFNOTE combines intuitive touchscreen modules with its Tru-Aco sound technology, ELISE sensing and expressive multi-zone drums and cymbals. The choice runs from the space-saving EFNOTE Mini through to full-sized birch-shell kits and the stage-focused EFNOTE Pro 702.

Which EFNOTE Electronic Drum Kit Is Right for You?
EFNOTE Mini and EFNOTE 3X
The EFNOTE Mini places real birch shells, a 16" three-zone ride and a compact touchscreen module into a footprint of approximately 0.8m². It is a premium option for home practice, teaching, recording and smaller live setups.
The EFNOTE 3X uses a more conventional pad-based layout with independent stands, a 12" snare, four toms and a generous cymbal setup.
Best for: compact spaces or drummers who want a pad-style setup with plenty of playing surfaces.
EFNOTE 5 and EFNOTE 5X
The EFNOTE 5 moves into acoustic-style, 6-ply birch shells with a compact 16" bass drum, 12" snare and 18" ride. It offers a familiar playing position without requiring the room of a full-sized acoustic kit.
The EFNOTE 5X expands the setup with an additional floor tom and second 16" crash cymbal.
Best for: home studios and drummers who want real shells in a manageable footprint.
EFNOTE 7 and EFNOTE 7X
The EFNOTE 7 provides a full-sized playing experience with a 20" birch bass drum, 14" snare, 15" floor tom and 20" ride cymbal.
Finished in Black Oak, the EFNOTE 7X adds another floor tom plus splash and 17" effect cymbals for a larger, more versatile setup.
Best for: drummers moving from acoustic drums or anyone who wants full-sized shells and cymbals.
EFNOTE Pro 702
The EFNOTE Pro 702 Modern is designed around professional live use. Its full-sized five-piece birch-shell configuration is paired with five cymbals and the two-piece EFNOTE Pro module.
Up to 12 balanced XLR outputs allow separate signals to be sent directly to a stage box or mixing desk, giving front-of-house engineers detailed control without conventional drum microphones.
Best for: touring, theatres, houses of worship, larger stages and professional studios.

Yes. EFNOTE's current modules provide USB audio and MIDI connectivity, while the exact number of audio channels and available connections varies by series. The EFNOTE Pro is designed for more advanced studio and live routing, including 12-channel USB audio and up to 12 balanced XLR outputs.
Can I try an EFNOTE kit at Graham Russell Drums?
