Information

Recognised by their striking brilliant finish, Zildjian A Custom cymbals feature unique tonal grooves and lower profiles. Together, these attributes produce a smoother, glassier and brighter sounding cymbal with more give when struck. Each of the A Custom cymbals are characterised by a sharp attack without an extended amount of sustain. It makes for a higher volume which isn’t overpowering. The sound really doesn’t outstay its welcome. You can comfortably use these cymbals for a multitude of different styles of music and drumming too thanks to their excellent balance. It is these qualities that have made the sound of A Customs particularly sought after in the studio.

To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the A Custom cymbal line, Zildjian launched this 21” Anniversary Ride. This cymbal is extremely versatile, making it well suited for all types of musical settings. Retaining all of the A Custom cymbal line attributes, the 21” Anniversary Ride features symmetrical hammering, brilliant finish, and medium weight for a balanced sound that is neither too high nor too low. Known for its crisp, sweet sound, this cymbal’s loud, penetrating bell is also ideal for Latin patterns. To commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the A Custom line, a cream-white logo and special trademark have been added to the cymbal.
