The Yamaha CS755 cymbal boom stand is part of Yamaha’s 700 series hardware, designed to provide a balanced combination of stability and portability for gigging drummers. Classified as a medium-weight cymbal stand, it uses single-braced tripod legs to keep the overall hardware weight manageable while still offering dependable support for a wide range of cymbal sizes.

A key feature of the CS755 is Yamaha’s centre tilter system, allowing precise cymbal angle adjustment for accurate positioning within a drum setup. The stand also uses Yamaha’s placing-type boom tilter mechanism, which allows the boom arm angle to be adjusted independently from the stand height, making cymbal placement faster and more flexible during setup.

The stand includes a short 17-inch boom arm and an adjustable height range of approximately 91–172 cm, providing enough reach for most drum setups while remaining compact for transport. Large rubber tripod feet improve grip on stage and help prevent movement during performance.
