The Yamaha Absolute Hybrid Maple 20" Drum Kit, Polar White combines Yamaha’s maple/wenge shell construction with a practical four-piece configuration. Featuring 10" x 7" and 12" x 8" rack toms, a 14" x 13" floor tom and a 20" x 16" bass drum, it offers a compact setup for live performance and recording.

At the heart of each shell is a dense wenge ply sandwiched between layers of maple. This construction is designed to maintain clarity and tonal richness as your playing moves from quieter passages to stronger backbeats and fills. Yamaha’s YESS III tom mounting system reduces damping from the mounts, allowing the rack toms to resonate more freely.

The toms feature 3mm aluminium die-cast hoops, while Yamaha’s Hook Lugs make head changes quicker and incorporate an internal locking mechanism to help maintain tuning. Different bearing-edge profiles further balance the kit’s sound, with 45-degree edges on the toms and a 30-degree bass drum edge designed to bring out more low end. The Polar White finish completes a clean, understated appearance.
