Built around a 1.3mm beaded brass shell, this 14” x 4” snare delivers the bright, cutting tonal character brass drums are renowned for, with a sharp attack, crisp articulation and lively harmonic overtones. The shallower 4” depth gives the drum a naturally fast response and tight snare sensitivity, making it particularly suited to high-tension tunings and styles that demand clarity such as funk, pop, gospel and fusion.

Fitted with 10 chrome tube lugs and 2.3mm triple-flanged hoops, the drum offers excellent tuning stability while retaining the open, resonant character brass shells are known for. The S-9 style snare strainer provides smooth, reliable operation and precise adjustment, while the supplied German brass-ended snare wires deliver excellent sensitivity and articulation across a wide dynamic range.
