An Evening with Todd Sucherman

Todd Sucherman has been the drummer for Styx since the mid-1990s, taking the band through four decades of Billboard success including the chart-topping Crash of the Crown, while building one of the most respected parallel careers in session and clinic drumming anywhere in the world.

Away from Styx, Todd has recorded and performed with artists including Brian Wilson, Peter Cetera and Michael Bolton, and has racked up more than a thousand radio and TV commercial recording credits. He has won multiple Modern Drummer Readers’ Poll awards, including for Clinician, and created the Rock Drumming Masterclass for Drumeo, watched by drummers in over 60 countries.

For this clinic evening at The Wedgewood Rooms, Todd will be playing live, talking through his career, and taking questions directly from the audience: the same blend of playing and teaching that has made him one of the most in-demand clinicians on the circuit.

Todd became a SONOR artist in 2025 and currently performs on a custom SQ² kit built with heavy beech shells. His SABIAN setup includes the HHX Redlight and AA Spotlight crashes developed with him, alongside models from the Artisan, AA, AAX and HHX families.
