Information

The Tama S.L.P. G-Maple 14" x 6" Snare Drum, Kona Mappa Burl is now available with us at Graham Russell Drums.

Built around an 11mm shell comprising 12 plies of maple and an outer ply of Mappa Burl, this G-Maple delivers a bright, punchy sound with strong projection. Its substantial shell provides power for assertive backbeats while retaining the sensitivity needed for quieter playing and ghost notes.

The 2.3mm Steel Mighty Hoops and separate, low-mass Starclassic lugs allow the shell to resonate naturally, producing an open, lively response. A 20-strand Super Sensitive Hi-Carbon steel snare wire helps capture subtle strokes with crisp definition, while the Kona Mappa Burl finish showcases the distinctive figuring of the outer ply.
