The Sonor AQ2 13" x 6" is a compact maple snare with plenty of versatility. Its slightly smaller 13" diameter gives it a focused, responsive character, while the 6" depth and maple shell retain enough body for it to work as either a main snare or an alternative voice alongside a 14" drum.

Built from a 7-ply, 5.8mm Canadian and Chinese maple shell, the AQ2 features 45-degree bearing edges and Sonor's 2.3mm Power Hoops. TuneSafe lugs help maintain tuning during playing, while the chrome hardware and high-gloss Brown Fade lacquer give the drum the same distinctive finish found across the matching AQ2 range.
