Snareweight Solid Brass #5 w/Standard Leather Insert & Case

Snareweight #5 is the fifth generation. It's made to last, built from a weighted solid 3/4lbs. chunk of CNC'd brass. The weight, friction and magnet, all work together to create what we call "expressive dampening"- giving colour options to your playing all the way through the dynamic range.

The Snareweight #5 Brass gives you the freedom to shape your sound the way you want it. Simply slide it like a dial around your drum while hitting your snare to find the sweet spot. As usual, all older inserts work with this one. The Snareweight #5 has a rustic brown leather insert that is a bit brighter sounding with a more cutting rim shot. It'll stay securely on your hoop thanks to its neodymium arched magnet.

For more dampening, pair the #5 up with 70’s inserts for THAT sound!

Please note: If your drum has non-magnetic hoops (ie die cast or chrome over brass) you’ll need the Pro Lock adapter.
