The Mapex Saturn VI Fast Rock combines hybrid maple/walnut shells with Mapex's resonance-focused shell and hardware technology, delivering a deep, warm and powerful sound while retaining plenty of clarity and definition.

The combination of maple and walnut is central to the Saturn sound. Maple contributes clarity and definition, while walnut adds depth and stronger low frequencies, creating a balanced shell with plenty of body and resonance.

Mapex complements the hybrid shell construction with its SONIClear™ Bearing Edge and suspension system, designed to maximise contact between the drumhead and shell while reducing unnecessary restriction from the mounting hardware. The result is a drum that can resonate more freely while remaining responsive and easy to tune.
