Designed to offer professional performance at an accessible level, the PDP Concept Series is built around 7-ply European maple shells, delivering a balanced tonal profile with a strong low end, smooth midrange, and clear highs. Maple’s versatility makes this kit well suited to a wide range of musical styles, from studio work to demanding live performance.

This 7-piece configuration provides a flexible foundation, featuring a 22" bass drum and a wide spread of rack and floor toms for detailed tuning options and expanded setup possibilities. The toms are fitted with DW’s STM (Suspension Tom Mount) system, allowing the shells to resonate freely without hardware contact, while graduated triple-flanged chrome counter hoops enhance openness and sustain, particularly on the smaller toms. True-Pitch tension rods ensure precise, consistent tuning, supported by dual-turret lugs and low-mass claw hooks for reliable performance.

Finished in Satin Charcoal Burst lacquer with polished chrome hardware, this shell pack delivers a refined aesthetic alongside modern functionality.
