The shells made of European maple develop a round, resonant tone with a wide frequency spectrum - from high-end attack on smaller toms and snares to a fat, deep fundamental tone on floor toms and bass drums.

High-end features on every instrument.

The 7-ply tom shells come standard with DW®'s Suspension Tom Mount system (STM™) for suspended toms and sturdy steel legs for floor toms.

The tension hoops of the bass drums, also 7-ply, are held by solid die-cast claws, while for the 10-ply snares the reliable MAG™ drop-throw-off has been included, where the easy-to-use vertical adjustment lever is secured by a clever magnet against accidental actuation.

All PDP® Concept™ Maple Series instruments use DW®'s True-Pitch® tension rods, graduated tension hoops, retro-inspired dual lugs and premium REMO® heads.
