The Paiste Signature Traditionals 14" Medium Light Hi-Hats are part of Paiste’s Signature Traditionals range, a series developed to capture the complex, musical character associated with classic jazz and vintage cymbal sounds. These cymbals are crafted from Paiste’s proprietary Signature Bronze alloy, designed to deliver rich warmth, clarity and exceptional dynamic response. Each cymbal is hand hammered and hand lathed in Switzerland, creating a complex surface structure that contributes to the deep, layered overtones typical of the series.

The 14" Medium Light Hi-Hats feature a medium-thin top cymbal paired with a heavier bottom, producing a responsive playing feel with controlled articulation. Tonally they offer a dark, dry and woody character with a warm, complex wash and soft stick definition. The chick sound is warm and slightly loose, making these hi-hats particularly well suited to jazz, swing, blues, soul, country and acoustic styles, as well as studio settings where a musical, controlled hi-hat sound is desired.
