The Mike Johnston cymbal pack features medium-weight cymbals which sit perfectly in any mix. They are extremely versatile and can be implemented into any playing style and any environment with ease.
The Extra Dry Medium Hats are completely hand-hammered into shape to provide perfect sound quality and playability. The hammer marks and dry finish provides an extremely dark sound with a short sustain that fits perfectly in any mix. The combination of a heavy bottom hat and a light top provides a distinctive dry and defined sound, with a fat ‘chick’ and dark stick responses.
The Extra Dry Thin Crash is a lightweight crash with an extremely dry and low-pitched sound. With trashy overtones, soft responses and a fast decay. It provides the impact required to add accenting emphasis to your playing, with the depth of tone to deliver full tonal spread.
The Transition Ride maintains stick definition whilst effortlessly transitioning from articulate sticking to a wide-open and tonally fuller crash-ride function. The multi-purpose transition ride cymbal has an unlathed and slightly polished top for clear sticking, a versatile sound, and a present but not overpowering bell.
The Traditional Extra Thin Crash features a traditional finish with a lathed surface to provide a warm, smooth and rich sound that can be implemented into any playing style.
