Developed in collaboration with Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich, this signature snare drum is built to deliver the power, projection and unmistakable authority required for some of the biggest stages in the world. Whilst many signature instruments focus on aesthetics, the Tama Lars Ulrich Signature Snare is very much a performance-driven instrument, designed around a unique 3mm diamond plate steel shell that produces the aggressive attack, volume and cutting presence needed to punch through dense mixes and high-volume live performances.

The 14" x 6.5" dimensions provide an excellent balance of body, projection and sensitivity, whilst the substantial shell construction gives this drum a character that is distinctly different from standard steel snares. There is a huge amount of energy behind every stroke, with a powerful crack that remains focused and articulate even when played at extreme volumes.
