This Istanbul Agop 22″ Traditional Jazz Medium Ride Cymbal is now available with us at Graham Russell Drums.

This is the Traditional Jazz Ride with added weight, giving you the same musicality and character as the original Traditional Jazz Ride but built for greater projection. Like every Traditional series cymbal it is completely lathed on top and bottom, hand-hammered from B20 bronze, and designed as an homage to Istanbul Agop's history while staying firmly usable in modern playing. It works as well in an acoustic trio as it does among electric and electronic instrumentation, thanks to the wide dynamic range built into the Traditional Jazz voicing.

At 22 inches and medium weight, it delivers a musical, omnipresent stick sound with a lower-pitched, dark wash beneath it, giving you a ride that stays present without ever turning harsh. Push it harder and it opens into a genuinely explosive crash, so it doubles comfortably as a crash-ride when the moment calls for it.
