The Agop Signature series was the final creation of Istanbul Agop's founder, master cymbalsmith Agop Tomurcuk, posthumously completed from a personal notebook built up over decades of making cymbals for some of the world's most acclaimed jazz drummers. Every detail on this ride, right down to the raw lathing and green logo stamping, Agop's own favourite colour, comes from that notebook, making it one of the most personal cymbals in the entire Istanbul Agop lineup.

At 22 inches and medium-thin in weight, this ride delivers a dry stick definition with warm, complex overtones, and the rawer lathing on the inner bow widens the spread of the sticking articulation for a tempered but genuinely complex wash underneath. The bell is wide and fairly flat, so a normal stroke gives a subtle tonal shift while a firmer strike with the shank brings out a distinct ping when you need it. It manages overtone build-up well for its size, staying controlled and flat-sounding rather than washing out, and it takes naturally to being played as a crash-ride depending on which part of the stick you use, giving genuine versatility from a single cymbal.
