The Gretsch Catalina Club 20" Drum Kit, Sahara Sparkle is now available with us at Graham Russell Drums.

Built around 7-ply Gretsch Mahogany Formula shells, the Catalina Club series delivers a warm, rounded tone with a softer attack and a distinctly vintage-inspired character. Traditional 30° bearing edges help reinforce that classic response, while 1.6mm triple-flanged hoops on the toms and snare allow the drums to resonate openly and respond naturally across a wide tuning range. 

This four-piece configuration features a 20" x 14" bass drum, 12" x 8" rack tom, 14" x 14" floor tom and 14" x 5" snare drum. The shallower 14" bass drum depth gives the kit a quick, punchy response while keeping the overall footprint manageable, making it a strong choice for smaller stages, rehearsals, studio use and players who prefer a more traditional-sized setup. 

The rack tom is mounted using Gretsch's Mini GTS suspension system, while low-profile tom and floor tom brackets help keep unnecessary hardware away from the shells. A distinctive "gas cap" bass drum mount plate, Gretsch T-Wing hardware and matching wooden bass drum hoops complete a practical setup with plenty of classic Gretsch styling. 

Finished in Sahara Sparkle with chrome hardware and factory-fitted Remo drumheads, this Catalina Club combines vintage-inspired looks with a compact, versatile configuration that works across jazz, indie, roots, pop and general live playing.
