The Evans Hydraulic Drum Head is designed to deliver a deep, controlled sound with minimal overtones, making it a popular choice for players who want a short, punchy response straight out of the box. Constructed from two plies of thin film with a layer of oil between them, it produces a focused tone with reduced sustain and a distinctive low-end character.

The red translucent finish gives the head a classic, vintage-inspired look while contributing to its signature sound. The hydraulic construction naturally dampens unwanted resonance, eliminating the need for additional muffling and making tuning quick and straightforward.
