The Evans 22" UV EQ4 Bass Drum Head is now available with us at Graham Russell Drums.

Combining the focused response of the EQ4 series with Evans’ highly durable UV-cured coating, the 22" UV EQ4 is designed for players who want a controlled, punchy bass drum sound without sacrificing low-end body. Its single-ply 10mil construction is paired with an internal overtone control ring to focus the response and keep unwanted sustain under control.

Durable UV Coating

Evans’ UV-cured coating is designed to resist wear, chipping and flaking while maintaining a consistent playing surface over extended use. This makes the UV EQ4 particularly well suited to regular gigging, rehearsing and recording.

Focused EQ4 Sound

The fixed internal overtone control ring helps produce a controlled low-end rumble with a focused attack. Evans describes the UV EQ4 as having moderate attack and sustain with a slightly darker overall tone.

Level 360 Technology

Evans Level 360 Technology is designed to provide even contact around the bearing edge, helping the head seat consistently while offering a broad and responsive tuning range.
