Developed in collaboration with acclaimed DW artist Dave Elitch, the DW MFG True-Cast 14" x 4" Bronze Snare Drum is a remarkable fusion of precision engineering, handcrafted craftsmanship and uncompromising performance. As the first-ever True-Cast piccolo snare, this limited-edition instrument has been meticulously designed to deliver exceptional articulation, explosive attack and an incredibly wide tuning range, making it equally at home in the recording studio and on the world's biggest stages.

At the heart of the drum is a fully machined 14" x 4" sand-cast Bell Bronze shell. Unlike conventional cast shells, the interior profile has been precision contoured, tapering from 5mm at the bearing edges to 3mm through the centre. This innovative design enhances resonance while retaining the unmistakable power, sensitivity and tonal richness that Bell Bronze is renowned for. The result is a piccolo snare that offers remarkable body and projection without sacrificing responsiveness.

Complementing the shell is a premium specification drawn from DW's flagship MFG Series. True-Cast counter hoops maximise attack and tuning stability, while precision-machined Brass Mini Turret lugs, the Mini MAG throw-off, True-Pitch® tension rods and 20-strand True-Tone® snare wires combine to deliver outstanding reliability, sensitivity and tuning accuracy. Finished with DW MFG drumheads by Remo USA, every component has been selected to extract the maximum performance from this exceptional instrument.

With only 100 examples produced worldwide, the DW MFG True-Cast 14" x 4" Bronze Snare Drum is as exclusive as it is impressive. Each drum is supplied in a custom-built DW MFG flight case by Calzone and includes a signed certificate of authenticity, making it a highly collectible addition for discerning drummers, collectors and DW enthusiasts alike.
