The CODE Generator 18" Coated Drum Head features a two-ply construction made from two 7.5 mil layers of coated PET film, delivering a durable and controlled response that is well suited to medium and heavier playing. Its fast attack and quick decay help larger floor toms stay focused and punchy, while the reduced sustain keeps the drum sounding controlled without losing the depth and low-end presence expected from an 18" tom.

A bonded outer ring provides further control over unwanted overtones, helping to tighten the response while retaining enough body and resonance for the drum to sound full and musical. The durable textured coating adds further tonal control and provides a responsive playing surface suitable for brushes, while the aluminium rim with steel core helps provide a secure fit and consistent tuning performance.
