About Craig Blundell
Craig Blundell is one of the UK’s busiest progressive rock drummers, known for his precision, musicality and teaching chops. He’s toured with Steven Wilson and Steve Hackett (Genesis Revisited), and continues to record and perform with projects including Frost* and Kino.
Craig has been a Mapex international artist and ambassador for over 20 years, a relationship that culminated in his Black Panther Design Lab “Machine” signature snare—14x5.5” maple/walnut which was built for articulate attack, dynamic range and studio-ready tone straight out of the case.

Beyond the signature snare, Craig regularly takes Mapex Design Lab setups on the road. His touring rigs have featured Design Lab shells such as Versatus (alongside Paiste cymbals and Aquarian heads) for the power and control needed on large stages and complex setlists.
