You read that right: Eric Moore is coming to Southampton!

Gretsch artist Eric Moore is an American drummer, producer and educator known for his explosive chops, deep pocket and extraordinary energy behind the kit. He is one of the most recognisable and influential drummers to emerge from the contemporary gospel drumming movement.

After winning Guitar Center's national Drum-Off in 2003, Eric went on to perform with artists and bands including Bobby Brown, Sly & The Family Stone, Suicidal Tendencies, Infectious Grooves, T.R.A.M. and Eros Ramazzotti. His performances, promotional videos and online lessons have also introduced his playing to generations of drummers around the world.

Across the evening, Eric will spend time playing and demonstrating the power, control and musicality that have made him such an exciting drummer to watch. He will also talk about his career, experiences and life behind the kit before finishing with a short question-and-answer session with the audience.

We are incredibly excited about this one and are sure plenty of you will be too, so we are taking the event to Hanger Farm in Totton, following our previous evenings there with Ash Soan and Thomas Lang.

Eric joined the Gretsch artist family in 2026 and has been a Paiste artist since 2020. For this event, Eric will be playing a Gretsch Renown kit alongside an extensive selection of Paiste cymbals, with 2002 Big Beats forming a central part of his current cymbal sound.
