The Tama Starclassic Maple 22" 4-Piece Shell Pack combines outstanding craftsmanship, premium hardware and beautifully resonant maple shells to deliver a professional drum kit that's equally at home on stage, in the studio or in the rehearsal room. Finished in a stunning Ruby Pacific Walnut Burst lacquer with Smoked Black Nickel hardware, it offers a striking appearance to match its exceptional performance.

At the heart of the kit is Tama's renowned Starclassic Maple shell construction. Rather than simply using fewer plies, Tama reduces the thickness of each individual maple ply before cross-laminating them to create 6-ply, 5mm tom shells and an 8-ply, 7mm bass drum shell. This innovative approach allows the shells to resonate more freely while maintaining impressive strength and durability. The result is the warm, articulate tone, excellent projection and wide tuning range that have made Starclassic Maple one of the world's most respected professional drum kits.

Premium features such as the Star-Cast Mounting System, Quick-Lock Tom Brackets, die-cast hoops, HoldTight washers and air cushioned floor tom legs work together to maximise resonance, improve tuning stability and make setup quicker and more reliable. Supplied with genuine Evans drum heads, every component has been chosen to deliver outstanding performance straight out of the box.
