The Sonor SQ2 20" Thin Beech Drum Kit in African Marble High Gloss is a five-piece, German-made kit built through Sonor’s flagship custom drum system. Its compact dimensions include a matching 14" x 5" snare drum, creating a responsive setup with the full, balanced character associated with German beech.

The 10" and 12" rack toms, 14" floor tom and snare use thin beech shells for a resonant, responsive voice. The 20" x 15" bass drum uses medium beech construction, adding greater weight and projection to the kit’s low end. Every drum is completed with an African Marble outer veneer and a deep high-gloss finish that highlights the natural grain pattern.

SQ2 shells are manufactured in Germany using Sonor’s CLTF construction process for shell stability and OSM sizing for improved drumhead contact. Sonor’s 45-degree bearing edges support resonance and straightforward tuning, while TuneSafe helps prevent the tension rods from loosening during playing.
