The Sonor Momentum series combines premium German craftsmanship with a highly refined maple shell design built for professional performance. Made in Germany and constructed from 9-ply, 6mm maple shells, the Momentum series delivers a focused, articulate and highly musical response with impressive projection, controlled sustain and exceptional tuning stability. The result is a kit that feels powerful and precise whilst still retaining the warmth and tonal richness associated with high-quality maple shells.

This configuration features a 22" x 18" bass drum, 10" x 7.75" and 12" x 8.5" mounted toms, a 16" x 15.25" floor tom and a matching 14" x 6.5" snare drum. The combination creates an incredibly versatile setup capable of covering everything from studio and session work through to modern live performance applications. The larger 22" bass drum delivers strong low-end punch and excellent projection whilst maintaining impressive clarity and articulation, helping the kit feel controlled and responsive without excessive boom.

The mounted toms utilise Sonor’s renowned T.A.R. suspension mounting system, designed to minimise shell contact and maximise resonance without compromising stability. Combined with the 2.3mm steel hoops, the drums produce a balanced and controlled sustain with excellent attack and tonal definition throughout the tuning range. The floor tom is fitted with Sound Sustainer legs, helping preserve shell resonance further whilst maintaining solid positioning during performance.

Visually, the kit strikes a perfect balance between modern minimalism and classic Sonor styling. The Satin Pure White matte lacquer finish gives the shells a clean, understated and distinctly premium appearance, beautifully complemented by the chrome hardware and Sonor’s elegant single lug design. The use of single lugs with the TuneSafe system helps maintain exceptional tuning stability whilst reducing shell mass for improved shell response and resonance. Details such as the square tension rods and rubberised die-cast bass drum claws further reinforce the engineering precision and high-end feel throughout the entire kit.
