The Meinl R&D Concept 28" Dark Big Apple Dark Ride Cymbal is now available with us at Graham Russell Drums!

This exceptional 28" ride is a genuine one-of-one Meinl R&D prototype, purchased by Graham Russell Drums directly from the Meinl factory in Germany. Created as part of Meinl’s research and development process, it sits outside the standard production catalogue and offers the opportunity to own a completely individual cymbal.

Developed around the Big Apple Dark Ride concept, this oversized 28" prototype has its own unique specification, feel and tonal character. As a one-off R&D instrument, it should be considered an individual cymbal rather than a direct representation of a regular production Big Apple Dark Ride.

Its unusually large 28" diameter gives this cymbal a distinctive presence both visually and sonically, making it a particularly interesting option for players, collectors and Meinl enthusiasts looking for something genuinely different from a standard production model.

A Meinl Gong Case is also included free of charge, providing a practical solution for protecting and transporting this exceptionally large cymbal.
