The Kuppmen TwigStik Spring Carbon Fiber Drum Rods are now available with us at Graham Russell Drums!

Designed for drummers and percussionists looking to explore lower-volume playing and more unusual textures, the Kuppmen TwigStik Spring uses a bundle of carbon-fibre rods to produce a distinctive response that sits somewhere between traditional rods, brushes and sticks.

The Spring model is voiced for a more crisp, raspy and textured sound, making it particularly useful for subtle drum kit playing, percussion and situations where a conventional stick attack would be too direct. Kuppmen also recommends the TwigStik range for instruments including cajon, congas, bongos and timbales.

Each TwigStik Spring measures approximately 410mm in length with a 12.6mm grip diameter, while the playing end is constructed from seven carbon-fibre rods. This carbon construction is designed to provide a long working life while retaining a light, controlled feel in the hands.

The TwigStik Spring is intended primarily for controlled and subtle playing rather than hard hitting, allowing players to experiment with different dynamics and sounds without relying on a conventional drumstick.
